Kobe didnt ask to go out with a bunch of scrubs that cant even bring the ball up the court. He should get that Tim Duncan sendoff. The Spurs front office would have gotten Kobe 7 chips and a cemented top 3 legacy.

Actually if you take this post and flip it then you'll be onto something. Kobe despite being an all time great was a selfish me first guy who was somewhat always surrounded by stars. He deserves to go out with a bunch of scrubs chucking the ball times infinity while ranting and raving, its only right. Timmy being the understated team player that he was deserves to go out by having a fundamentally sound team built around him that is a legit championship contender.
Just like Jordan who was so obsessed with his brand that he dared not denounce racist politicians because 'republicans buy shoes too' would end up having his image turned into a famous meme

Mitch was a puppet. I mean, I applaud him for the Gasol deal, which was basically grand larceny. But Jim Buss can choke on a sick dikk. If Dr. Buss was still alive, he would have worked with Kobe to find some compromise.
