I believe him that SBG mishandled ROH badly. There's no doubt in my mind that some really stupid people had to be behind the TV and iPPVs. But at some point Cornette has to man up and take some blame. He was brought up to help the company and he did jack shyt.
LMAO at "good Jim". So when he was in TNA he was "good Jim" until he couldn't take it anymore, then he was "could care less" Jim and didn't do shyt either. Now it's the same story with ROH?
I like Cornette as an historian and manager (never seen SMW or OVW to judge him as a hands on booker) and it's always funny hearing him talk shyt about people but enough of his bullshyt.

Never really cared for Cornette's work in OVW. I saw all of 2004 and all of his work for 2005, and most of the shows were basically just recaps of what happened the week before. So you'd get maybe 25 minutes of promos and wrestling combined and maybe 25 of recaps from what happened last week. Like they'd literally just replay the promo in its entirety and it's not like they were even interesting angles or storylines. When Heyman took over booking OVW that shyt was stunningly good. Literally my entire wrestling fandom is based on the Attitude era and Heyman's work in OVW.
I also remember reading interviews with Cornette around that time were he'd say Doug Basham was going to be a multi time world champ and Rob Conway had as much charisma as The Rock, and some dude named Flash was for sure going to be the next Foley, Shelton Benjamin was a new Sting in the making, etc, etc.
Dude needs a Dairy Queen Blizzard.
