1. I’m not from NY.

2. You bringing up mainstream albums and downplaying mixtapes when that was a mixtape era. Oh you definitely wasnt there

3. You bringing up the versus like a causal. For people who actually lived it, the versus was about the immaculate artistry and cohesion of the Lox, and dipset being unprepared and disjointed. Neither of those things diminish their movement.

4. When we say ‘we were outside’, we don’t mean that b*stardized version you mean. We mean we were at black bike week in Myrtle beach, we were at Daytona black spring break, black college weekend at kings dominion. Crashing every HBCU in a 30 mile radius. On a daily basis listening to music coming out of cars, blasting out of dorm rooms, partying from Thursday-Sunday, on every strip, etc

And you talkin bout a versus. :beli:Ngga we are not the same
Yea man, you went to some parties in your hey day. we get it :mjlol: .....dipset had a solid cult following but that's where it ended. You weren't driving around Cali hearing dipset banging out of car windows. The verzuz had nothing to do with preparation. It was about the quality of the music. And the world finally seen what many of us said all along. That the dips were overrated. That's why their music had no longevity. I blame y'all for the reason Jim Jones thinks he's a legend now:mjlol:

Nah you tryin to live in 2 lanes. Clown mixtapes but big up the Lox who have TWO ALBUMS but a ton of mixtape content---including songs in the versus

And Cali you say? You know you fukked up right? First, we didn’t give af about what Cali was doin. That was the dead era for Cali. You’d know that if you was there :umad:

And who saved the west? Game. And when the west was desperate for a savior and needed him to get exposure where’d they go for his first placement?
