I'll say this...I do recall a time period (maybe 3/4 years, between 05-08/09)when jim was one of the most poppingest rappers in the game. That's just facts
Young MFers in that era (mid-late 00s) definitely gravitated towards jimmy moreso than nas during that particular time. The pendulum definitely swung back to nas later on, but we're not gonna act like jim jones was not that nikka for a few years.

From 05 to 09 A Jim Jones album never outsold a Nas album. A Jim Jones tour never outgrossed a Nas tour. Jim Jones managed two Billboard Hot 100 entries, Nas had 4. At NO time during Jim Jones career or even his commercial peak was he more popular as an artist than Nas. He wasn’t even more popular than Cam’ron during a time when Jim was signed to a Major label and Camron was independent.
