POME had some of the hottest production of the decade :ohlawd:.

Jimmy had swag but he never had the skills to match.

But I must say as a new yorker Ballin might have been the biggest hit I've ever seen. I know people will say In Da Club and I can't really argue against it but I'm tellin you back in like 06 I had never seen seen a song blow like Ballin did. You would go out to the club and that shyt would be on loop for like 10-15 minutes. :whew:

Plus you had everyone and their mother shoutin out BALLIN'!!!!!!!!

That joint was hot for like a solid year and a half.

Even to this day once that beat drops people will lose their minds.

he hustled checks outta this game. he has little to no talent as a rapper, but hustle, personality and the ability to identify talent (stack, max) gave him legs in the industry. he shoulda prolly refocused on the a&r to exec path earlier. he has an eye and ear for the business, that's for sure.

Stop talking about Max B you mindless dikk riders - he couldn't rap for shyt. I swear, if enough people repeat something then the rest of these retards will follow like that's their opinion too. Just like the whole Michael Jordan thing. There are dumb motherfukkers on this board that actually think Jordan hates black people, not realizing that the whole joke came from a Chamillionaire story that had nothing to do with race.

He had some good songs but thats it, he's a fukking a$$hole who thinks he's an A list. Ghost of Rich porter and the first Vampire Life were some good underrated mixtapes. Still waiting on Ghost of Rich Porter 2.

I appreciate people acknowledging he made some dope shyt, but I think ive seen a few threads on his run recently and need to say :whoa:...shyt wasn't THAT incredible:mjlol:....He's a less talented Mack 10 and should be regarded as such...we need to either start elevated a lot of other dudes over Jim that had runs who maybe overachieved with what they had to work with,or we gotta chill on gassin this nikka up for a minute:laff:

SAN ANTONIO SPURS NY DIVISION

camron fell the fukk off. i say it happened after SDE (his best album, by the way), but others might argue it happened after purple haze. either way, that nikka's discography is NOT better than jim jones'. jones has not dropped one wack album/mixtape ever. cam has dropped several.

Cam has had his misses...Some were airballs....I'll be the first to admit it...

But his 2003-2006ish run along with those public enemy mixtapes are superior...
