If we keepin it buck, jimmy never realeased a bad album.

And no one would ever argue that he is a god tier lyricist...he just spits real shyt, has a great ear for beats and makes great music to listen too.

Can’t do anything but respect it. Truth be told, Jim’s most likely made better music by quantity than most nikkas favorite rappers...

I'll be honest back in the day I always looked at Jim as the U-God of Dipset, nothing against him but I just thought Cam and Juelz were more entertaining

But now he's making better music than both of them combined...and when I heard that Sauce Boyz joint I was like damn Jim got the best verse on the song

to be fair must be nice, when people see you go from hype man to a good rapper.
all his plaudits used to be about him being a hustler etc...now he getting it as an MC.

random fact. Biggs even when he was in jail was involved in all of Jim's albums.
he also took them all to Puff since Harlem: Diary of a Summer too.

album is sounding great though.

Happy for Jim for real, he finally in a space next to dope rappers who respect him.

after the BLASSIC, that was ''Wasted Talent'' im really happy to see this. he need to leave them bums aka flab'ron & ToothL'z

Yimmy x Puffy :blessed:

Jim has been better than Cam since 2004, and when it comes to that street hustler shyt, few do it better, and have been doing it as long.

The Deep State
that was once the consensus during the Come Home with Me/Diplomatic Immunity era

but in 2019 he's actually a Nas tier level emcee when ur comparing him to the likes of 6ix9ine, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi etc
the same thing that happened to Rick Ross when DEEPER THAN RAP came out is what happened to Jim Jones...he just started giving a damn and has been dropping straight heat for years.

I remember cats trashing Jim on here.

Never saw what the issue was. While Cam was the nicest in the dips, he had some terrible verses, and we won't even start on juelz. So while Jimmy wasn't exactly raising the bar he flowed over tracks normally and imo wasnt on nazi nazi cop me papi lazy crap
