Jones is actually rapping, too bad not many take him serious after the stuff says about other people.
Jim really took the wrong road..pretty much everyone respects his hustle and understands he's gotten better in rapping..but instead of embracing that and working together/respecting dudes that are clearly better and have been for awhile he chose to go against them and tried to paint himself as better/younger, etc and now he's looked at as a joke..

People on here and SOHH used to love Jim, lol.

I remember reading messages that had people saying sh*t like he was a Prodigy level MC. Thing is, today, I can't even bring myself to listen to his music. It's not that I think bro's wack, I just don’t care about anything he's saying. His run was damn near two decades ago, for me.

He’s made better music in recent years than he has before then

I remember, back in 04-06 circa when the Dips were on their run he used to get a lot of love on sohh back in the days. I remember when On My Way To Church Dropped and then later when Ballin came out, heads in here took him serious in those days (Some of those songs were good though I admit on those albums). I agree on the last part as well I can't listen to him at all and two decades ago I might have listened to a new song or album.

Aside from Certified Gangsters, the only thing I remember from his first album was Bizzy Bone was on it and dusted Jim. I thought it was mad random since this is when Bizzy Bone was kinda bugged out. Diary of a Summer was a dope album though. I don't listen to Jim at all these days.

Facts.

People on here have a thing where they don’t really have their own opinions. So if a few people said Jim was dope, then you see mad people saying he's top whatever, lol. But when he fell out of favor with a few posters, then they all followed and swore they didn't like him anymore. That kinda sh*t is still going on today on here. Nobody thinks for themselves.

I can't even bother to listen to Jim today. His run was a long time ago, for me. And I was cool with it, back then. I don’t need any new Capo music in my life today, lol.
