Jim never gets the respect he deserves. It is what it is but he has a better ear for music. Look at his projects look at cans. Look at who was on Byrdgang than look at Vado.

Classic Niccas
Cam'ron has 3 personal classics (SDE, Purple Haze, and Come Home). Most, not all, of Jim Jones projects are solid to good. To me it's like comparing Derrick Rose to Andre Miller. One was at his peak an all-time great but injuries and other things got in the way and he fell off (Though he's come back in the last two seasons). The other has been consistently "okay" his entire career.

the irony of this post.

"KILLA.....you andre miller. you got a basic game" - camron

I would say once Jim started bryd gang, he was making better albums/tapes than cam.
Cam was kinda dead in the water, until he was fukking with Vado.

Jim was always underrated, and people are just starting to notice how good he actually is now that he's the best out of dipset.

That being said, we all know cam is washed now, and Jim is better currently, but Cam at his peak might be a top 5 all time rapper, come on now.

I will say this, I think the byrd gang mixtapes aged better than a lot of the diplomats material. It's more in line with the sound of current hip hop imo.

Was always a fan of Jones’ music more than Cam’s but started to appreciate his stuff later down the line. Jim has been on a upward trend recently, his music still sounds good. Cam can be hit or miss at times.

Imagine if Juelz had Jimmy's work ethic...

Another thing, people always talk about Juelz fumbling the bag with the collabo mixtape tape with Wayne, but no one mentions how dumb of a decision it was to start Skull Gang instead of just being part of Byrd Gang with Jimmy.
