always been funny to me that Jim has had a dislike for G-Unit more than any Dipset member yet went on 106 and was on stage with them to annoy Cam and put himself in the middle of it. before that he had run ins with with Yayo in Miami and at one of the mixtape award shows, was dissing them constantly for years..especially on the City of God tape and lately been shytting on them for the past few years because the Slowbucks shyt and now with the Verzuz talk when it gets brought up to him.

Yayo and Jim Jones never had issues at the mixtape awards.
That was the initial rumour...the incident that you’re referring to was actually Yayo n Hencham.

HipHopDx.com would like to retract earlier reports implying that trouble that ended the Tenth Annual Mixtape Awards was actually anything to do with Dipset and G Unit. There had been a heated argument at the door between Tony Yayo and Jimmy Henchman, actually of Tzar Entertainment, as the lack of organization had industry execs, DJs and artists standing out in the cold and needless to say on a cold Harlem night people were tried and tested. Inside the auditorium however there had been a fight between Agallah, who is Byrdgang affiliated and a Harlem rapper called Shady Ray. Hmm Weird. If strictly based on Groups, and not individual solo joints, were people really jamming G-Unit like that? I mean, I’m from the South, and outside of Teach you how to stunt, didn’t really hear it getting any play.

Dipset albums though, seeing as how they messed with some folks from the south, I heard Their albums getting played

Some of the G Unit singles were #1 on the 106 & Park countdown back in the day I always assumed number 1 on 106 & Park back then = hottest song in the country.


G Unit only dropped one group album at their peak, GRODT ST if you count it as an group album dropped after Game & LOX turned everybody against G Unit when they was beefing. The third album Terminate on Sight the Unit was beyond as an group by that point.


G Unit dropped a lot of content on mixtapes which back then you was only able to get from the bootleg man for 5 bucks, maybe those mixtapes weren't in circulation in the south? if G unit is allowed to use those songs than Dipset doesn't have a chance, Unit had bangers over other people's beats
