his listening session last night was a cool little idea.
had it in a homeless centre or some shyt in Harlem, you got gave a headset with the album while you got had fake money to play dice etc and at the end of the listening you trade however much you had for like tees, hats, AF1's etc
as far as the album;
i'm really liking it...i would love it more if i wasn't already so familiar with it due to the snippets.
if people are going in blind to the album not knowing what to get they'll be pleasantly surprised.
he had a few shaky years post Max and Stacks but w/ The Kitchen now this he's back on his shyt. that EastCoast hustler music.
for Jimmy to make an album this good in 2018....respect.
Never Did The Three Quarters
Dust & Powder
Catch On Yet
Ganging
Got To Play The Game
Epitome
Living My Best Life
The Old Way
Diplomatic Immunity*
Head Off

Once Upon A Time
....are all fire.
Got To Be Real is a cool relationship record, Adidas is a decent hustling record
the bonus tracks outside of Once Upon A Time could have been left off.
*not a fan of Cam verse on this. sound like he didn't recorded to the beat
verse abruptly ended like he walked out of the booth in the middle of the verse. a damn shame because Jim smoked that shyt.
thats another thing. Jim's rapping might be at an all time on high on some of the songs on here.
all in all a great addition to add to a strong discography from Jim.
