I don't think that has anything to do with anything. Consistency goes a long way

This site's better than most but it wasn't that long ago when most people were hating on Jim hard body. And he's been consistently dope for a long time so it can't be that.

There was someone in this thread that said he never gave Jim a chance because of Max B and Jay Z :dame:

Yeah, I'm still playing The Kitchen, have good memories of being uptown for the first time, playing that in my headphones wandering around 125 and MLK, and over in East Harlem. Jones does the eastcoast hustler music better than anyone still around in 2018, as far as I'm concerned. He cornered that lane a long time ago, and fell off for awhile, but he's been back for a minute now. Been a Jim fan since his verse on "Come Home With Me", but I first heard him on SDE in like 9th grade.
come on home with me...

Not feeling this sorry guys. It's definitely one of his more consistent efforts though, but I love him sharing verses with the crew instead.

Nice to see HeatMakerz still active.

Yeah, this isn't as introspective or reflective as The Kitchen, I hope he follows up with a sort of sequel to that project. This is solid enough for some spring plays though.

Jim doesn’t have anything close to Cam’s second and third albums but aside from that, he’s been waaaaay more consistent. And it’s because Jim actually puts effort in his shyt. I liked Cam’s last tape somewhat but his production and engineering on his last 5 projects have been horrendous. Plus he’s been mailing in verses 85% of the time
what about his first album? that shyt surprised the fukk out of me
