i been playing this front to back since i got on thursday. not been able to say that since Hustlers POME.
album slid right in at number two so far this year behind Roc Marciano.

Honestly no IMO ..jimmy sounds real polished....this was the album we all thought we was gonna get back in 08 when he dropped that pray 4 rain bull shyt....this album is really nice, I got 11 tracks off this shyt easily:ehh:

i've heard Jim say he hated that album right out his own mouth.
blamed Dame and Clark Kent for gassing him and himself for letting people convince him to move away from what people liked about him.

Before that bullshyt dropped Dame was hyping it to be in the same league as The Chronic & Reasonable Doubt :russ:

I remember he said that shyt I was like :what:

Jim isn’t really considered a lyrically gifted M.C. How are you gonna change that?
Dash: If you come down and listen to his album [Pray IV Reign], and I’m not sure if I’m too close to the music or the project, but shyt sounds like a classic. I’m a make a bold statement and put it in the same league as Reasonable Doubt and The Chronic.

You like this better then The Kitchen? I don't think there is one tracker rawer than "Live Fast Die Young" or more introspective than "Addicted To The Game".

I liked Pray IV Reign, but Dame was typically WAY over the top comparing it to Reasonable Doubt, but I knew that going in, I mean, what was the single "Na Na Na"? lol

Let It Out
The Is The Life
My My My

This site's better than most but it wasn't that long ago when most people were hating on Jim hard body. And he's been consistently dope for a long time so it can't be that.

There was someone in this thread that said he never gave Jim a chance because of Max B and Jay Z :dame:

No need, dope music is dope music. I was never a Jim Jones fan back in the day (preferred Cam and Rell), but gradually, Jim put together a more than solid catalog, mixtapes included. This is exactly what a want to hear from an NY vet without being dusty and in a box. Other vets should take notice. There’s a way to make something fresh without compromising your true sound.
