after rewatching the whole fight with sound off... Tim Bradley 4 or at most 5 rds, Pacman 7 or at most 8 rds

so the fight was a little closer than i thought...harold lettermans score card is a little ridicoulos, but there is no way...no way Bradley won more rds than pac did...impossible

It's a shame too, because the "11-1" meme has really taken off in popular consciousness.

The Sweet Science
Clottey was blocking a lot in that fight.

Pac was swinging wildly and missing alot against Bradley and Tim caught a fair amount of punches on his arms.

Clottey either stood there or slowly plodded forward like a damn pawn on a chess board. Damn thats an apt description in more ways than one.

I think if Tim didnt lose his base (twisted ankle for sure, and whatever ligiment damage he did to his foot) the Manny punches that were landing wouldnt have been looking quite as powerful. I mean if you were to saw half-way through the legs on a table it wouldnt take much to make the table wobble around.

Duane Ford has a history of shady scoring. Hopkins would've won his first fight against Taylor if not for Ford scoring the last round in Taylor's favor, a round that Hopkins clearly won.

I like how we have moved from "Nah man, Manny dominated that round and fight" to "well, judges should just call these rounds even"

yeah, exactly

Still, you'll be hard-pressed to develop an argument that Bradley won, and not just that Manny didn't do enough to win. The only case you're building now is that Manny won a close fight. Still doesn't change the fact that

- Manny outlanded him
- Manny hit him with more power punches
- Manny controlled the ring for a good deal of the fight.

ive said consistently that Manny won.

I said it was actually a 7-5 fight for Manny, but every round was close minus a couple.

This decision was no robbery is my only point.

And keep using those compubox numbers, when they arent reliable at all. They replayed the 7th round where Manny supposedly connected on 27 punches to Bradley's 11. People on these boxing message boards saw those numbers, then saw that round and realized the numbers were bunk.
