Two words John Cena. When your top face is a corny sumbytch that nobody likes and wants to cheer for it messes up the entire business. Everytime someone faces Cena they instantly become one of the top faces, and the top heels are always booked against the top face. So all the top heels are being sabotaged by having to face Cena. Bray Wyatt is a great heel when he faced Bryan he got booed a week later he faces Cena and you would think he's one of the top faces in the company.

thats exactly what i was saying. when hogan was on top, i dont care who you were. you always came in second. once you turned on hogan, you became the number one heel, number one most hated. i remember reading old wrestling magazines. you always had top 10 most popular and most hated. man if you turned against hogan, you went from not being on the list to number one most hated.

I disagree with JR too, when most of the babyfaces are this corny, whitebread personalities with no edge it makes a edgy or unique heel like Bray Wyatt get over because he's more interesting and easier to root for than an vanilla face

The heels cant be heels because of todays bytchmade society. Remember when Bully Ray had to apologize for actually being a Bully?? Or you had a kids parent upset because Sheamus ripped his sign..
Or when R Truth smoked a cigarette and had the woman in the crowd screaming "Think about the children!":mjlol:

You can't book Cesaro and Lesnar as cowards

Orton was champ and didn't have clean win in months, don't know what JR is talking about
What wins did he have though? I don't watch 24/7 so I'm trying to remember who he's faced. The Bryan-Hunter-Orton thing from months ago comes to mind, but in the end it wasn't affecting Orton, it put more heat on Hunter. Which made no fukking sense. You're suppose to be putting more heat on Orton but they never did. And other matches: vs. Sheamus, Cesaro, Bryan again, Cena, he's lost. Beat Christian cleanly. Beat Cena in that TLC match, nothing heelish involved. Beats Cena at RR but had the Wyatt's assistance, no heat on Orton for winning.

So yeah, your supposed number one heel, and gets no opportunity to get more heat which is the entire point of being champion. Losing like he did, cleanly (also to KOFI KINGSTON?!), and not by DQ or count out or whatever, did him no favors.

I do agree that guys like Lesnar don't need to do things cowardly, but every once in a while he can low blow or something won't hurt. Wyatt's are a perfect description to what JR is saying. More of dudes trying to be cool than being great villians. Yes he's saying things, but he isn't straight lying, he isn't running away from fights, when he does win it's by squash matches or cleanly. Like when he beat Bryan at RR it should've been a dirty finish.

Great heels can get fans to hate them even in an era when it's cool to cheer bad guys

That's why nobody should ever question Triple H's ability to be a heel. He always can get fans to hate him. And he does it by using tactics JR said. Now HHH has fallen into the trap of trying to one up the faces and be too cool at times, but he still knows how to be an old school heel with the best of them when he wants to be.

Cripple H is spinning off Bryan. Everyone get huge heat against him...he would get cheered against Sheamus and Kofi.

The heels aren't the issue. It's the faces.

Because WWE is too afraid to take risks with so many of them, we end up with a bunch of bytchmade goody-two-shoes types, especially in the midcard.

The Shield's face turn is a perfect example of this. All the faces were too shook to do anything about them but the heels stay coming at them sideways. Though to be fair, these pussified babyfaces are largely the fault of the IWC.

Brock should never, ever cheat. He was at his best during his second heel run back in '03 when he was just destroying guys.

fukking up Kendrick and Zach Gowen for no good reason :wow:

Agreed, for the most part he shouldn't cheat. But even in that 03 heel run, he would take cheap shots every so often.

The funny part was that he was on the Legends of Wrestling about rivalries and Jim Ross was saying that what made their feuds great was that both were just playing their character and it was natural. How it would be weak if one was playing the good guy and the other playing a bad comes across corny.
