Why would you leave tallahassee for baton rouge? i mean, theres more football talent, but going to lsu is a side grade at best.

I always wondered how Chip would do at a FL school recruiting wise. Speed everywhere but I don't think I need another reason to dislike FSU

LSU is a better football school & situation than FSU, no disrespect to my Noles breh, but that's an upgrade and he's going to a better conference too. Easy decision

Go to the SEC and lose to Alabama every year.

Recruiting base, facilities, school resources, conference. Just a better overall situation
SEC has better resources, a much more lucrative TV network than any other conference, as good a recruiting base if not better than he had in FSU
And of all the schools in the SEC poised to beat Bama, LSU is probably the strongest contender. Almost beat Bama with no semblance of a passing game. Let Jimbo find another Jameis down there in Baton Rouge...they'all win a title down there
I think all of that is debatable and not deniable enough to make a move. If he wants to do it sure. His setup at FSU is sweet.

@ LSU being a better football school than FSU. The things I read on this board, I swear. It shouldn't be surprising. This is the same board where some think UGA is a better job than FSU. 
FSU has accomplished more than both programs. You could add up bowl victories, titles, major awards, etc. from like 1980 between LSU and UGA and poor old FSU probably still has accomplished as much if not more in other cases .
Jimbo's a good coach. He's not Saban or Meyer. That becomes evident QUICKLY when you watch his teams play every week. If that Saban realm is the expectation going forward, he's going to be fired in a few years.
