ATL…overly
:mjlol: @ LSU being a better football school than FSU. The things I read on this board, I swear. It shouldn't be surprising. This is the same board where some think UGA is a better job than FSU.

FSU has accomplished more than both programs. You could add up bowl victories, titles, major awards, etc. from like 1980 between LSU and UGA and poor old FSU probably still has accomplished as much if not more in other cases . :mjlol:

Jimbo's a good coach. He's not Saban or Meyer. That becomes evident QUICKLY when you watch his teams play every week. If that Saban realm is the expectation going forward, he's going to be fired in a few years.

:dwillhuh:

Did you read any of what I said or just go on a typical Coli stan rant?

And why are you mentioning UGA? FSU is a great school and great program, I'm not shytting on them. LSU has everything FSU has plus it's a bigger school with bigger and better resources. All things being equal it's a better situation

It's not about the accomplishment it's about the resources. LSU doesn't compete with anyone in Louisiana, they also can chip players away from Texas like a Jamal Adams. They play in the SEC who never has to worry about being left out of the playoffs even with 2 losses. Also, LSU pays their assistant just as good or even better than anyone in the country

Why would jimbo leave fsu for lsu when all u have to do is recruit florida and u win + you have an easy path to the playoffs every year in the ACC.

Although i wish fsu would move to the SEC

I'm not saying he won't im just saying that shyt makes no sense, he got it made there.
Leave a well established program just to lose to Alabama every year :mjlol:

FSU is in the most talent rich state in the country. Basically, even a poor class for us is top 5. Subsequently, we out recruit LSU yearly. Facts. I'm not even trying to be funny or throw shade at LSU and company. Our coaches are well paid. Jimbo is making 5 million a year. We have a trash OL coach making 500k a year. A weak defensive coordinator making a million plus. FSU isn't FIU or something. We're not a poor school.

Basically this boils down to some SEC>>> rah, rah, stuff - because neither LSU or Georgia with their supposed extreme resource advantages have been the program FSU has been at its peak in their entire history as programs. Thus, either this "resource" angle is overplayed, the SEC Valhalla angle is overplayed, or both.

Like, it's can't be:

A. LSU has more resources which makes it a better program than FSU.
B. LSU plays in the football Valhalla known as the SEC and therefore is a better program than FSU.
----------
C. FSU is a better program than LSU (factually, it is. I can provide empirical data).

Logically, this is just a poor and terrible argument. Your propositions have to support your conclusions. If A&B were really true like in the world and shyt then LSU as a consequence would have to be a better program than FSU in the conclusion (C), which isn't true; so, something is wrong. Yet, this is what is being bandied about. :mjlol:

It's the formal logician in me: forgive me.

What's really happening is brehs are using subjective measures of what they perceive as "better" and conflating that with actual reality and success. I'm going to call this phenomenon the Texas A&M effect. :banderas:

Essentially, the elevation of the program to new and historic heights in the collective mind of the fanbase, which has nothing to actually do with football play directly (historical or otherwise) and is more so a byproduct of ancillary benefits (e.g., conference, geography, etc).

Basically
Recruiting base, facilities, school resources, conference. Just a better overall situation

SEC has better resources, a much more lucrative TV network than any other conference, as good a recruiting base if not better than he had in FSU
No it's not. That's like me saying Ga Tech is a better situation than UGA. Recruiting basically voids itself since FSU has strong ties with the DMV area, South Carolina, and south GA and Alabama. Every HC at LSU has had access to that talent and only Saban was the one who won shyt. Les had access and could only win a title with Nick's players. Historically, LSU ain't seeing FSU. We had a dark decade. Them nikkas had a dark half century

Facilities go to us. If you mean school resources such as bag men and crazy boosters then yeah, BR got us beat.

Outside of the SECN, put me on these "SEC resources". If they were so prevalent, then there would be more than one school wreckin shyt for the past 5-7 years. We talking schools. fukk a conference. It's barely a lateral move if he bounces.
