The big rock n roll bands of the 50-70s were influenced by black Music, no one is disputing that either.

that man had the best album run ever. to think he did it all in in like 3-4 years really adds even more to his legendary status.

clapton actually said he wishes he had passed away instead of hendrix. he said hendrix still had years of greatness beyond him. i never knew clapton felt that way about blacks...it really changes my opinion of him. shame on no mention of his work with blind faith tho.
