Like a poster above said, no one is disputing Tupac as one of the greats. Stop with all that twisting shyt so it will fit your racist views.
The big time rappers of the 80-2000s were influenced by soul music, no one is disputing that either.

Doesn't take away that Eminem is the greatest rapper ever. And Mackelmore is one of few who could go toe to toe with Tupac tha god.

Fixed that 4 ya pal :smugfavre:

Go back and read your quote and read mine...if you can't get the meaning then you are either a cac or a c00n. If you understand it, then its all good.

Pac is the greatest rapper ever. Comparing Jimmy Page to Macklemore is the reference I dont get. Jimi Hendrix had The Experience but they as a collective were never on the same level as Led Zeppelin.

Jimi Hendrix is one of the goat guitar players but so is Jimmy Page.

Mackelmore will be seen as influential and quasi-political as Pac in the next 10 years especially with their stance on gay marriage. Pac is not considered the greatest because he had the best lyrical talent. He is considered the greatest because of how he used his talent to influence the people.

Oh and by the way...since you didn't understand...please refer to post #80 :heh:

Alright buddy, I bet ya favorite group of all time is the Beastie Boys. :russ:

I heard Asher Roth got a new tape coming soon, you checking for that breh? :leon:

If I had to choose one I would go with BTNH. But think hiphop is best when there' a solo rapper. But thank you for keeping the discussion at a playground level.

I went back and read it and it still didn't make any sense. I know calling people cac and c00n is popular at coli right now but when do that in the next Young Thug thread instead. Not listened to any Macklemore songs except thrift shop and already knew then and there that it wasnt for me.

Exactly, pac is considered the greatest he made all around great music. He had high quality lyrics, high quality flow, high quality influence and everything. Same can be applied to Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix. Jimi Hendrix was cott damn on the guitarr, but hearing him mumble through hey joe isn't exactly the best thing about the song. Led Zeppelin, even though their lyrics can't be compared to 2pac, that would be crazy to suggest that, they are still in a rock way lyrically great. For example stairway to heaven contain some great poetry.
