This is such a trash ass story got damn NBA reporting is pathetic ... Jimmy was never going to sign the extension this year anyways because it would pay him LESS MONEY than it would if he signs next summer ..so what does the writer do? They take an old story about Jimmy being disappointed in the young guys performing subpar in the playoffs cobble that together with an unrelated situation concerning his contract and now the sensationalized headline reads that jimmy is not signing BECAUSE he’s “fed up” with the young players ..

Towns is obsessed with stats over winning. And those stats give people a false sense that he's great. Towns is not as good as his numbers suggest. He's a player with serious flaws.
