I don't know about all that.

He's not an elite ball handler or anything, but he def is a problem in the post and is one of the best slashers in the league. He also lives at the FT line.

Nah bruh You put jimmy in an iso he can't create at all only vs a smaller guards he can, slashing isn't creating your own shot that's moving without the ball, jimmy can't get to the rim without a screen.

Jimmy can be an unrestricted free agent summer '18 and go get paid then. His agent is gassing him that's my man 100 grand but he can't even create his own shot I'm already skeptical of giving him 90 mil for 5 years when he had the best season of his career during a contract year.I could see if he had 2-3 seasons of last years production but he had one good season and was still injury prone

Meanwhile Kahwi leaonard isn't even visiting other teams and will accept the 5 year 90 mil as soon as free agency starts :beli:

Butler can definitely get his own shot. That's why him and rose were beefing

why is out of the realm of possibility that Jimmy wants to play in LA? there have been multiple reports already

As Butler spends time in Los Angeles this summer, a stretch that's included an overseas Entourage promotional jaunt with producer MarkWahlberg, Butler's intrigue with signing a potential Los Angeles Lakers offer sheet has increased, league sources told Yahoo Sports. - WOJ

And this is what Woj said on the 25th, which came out like a week after the snippet you bolded.

http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/7/71/720293/jimmy-butler-will-back-bulls-nba

Appearing on “The Dan Patrick Show,” Woj was asked about Jimmy Butler and his impending free agency.

“He’s a restricted free agent,” Wojnarowski told Patrick, “which means the Bulls are going to match any offer sheet for him. They’re not going to let him walk out. So, he’ll be back with Chicago next year.

“It’ll just be a matter of what kind of contract he has. Either he’ll do a deal with Chicago, or he’ll find an offer sheet with someone else that the Bulls will match. So, he’s not going anywhere.”

For some reason I think Jimmy Butler should just sign the max deal now and not risk being exposed by signing a 1 year deal. I feel like he's a good player, but he's not a sure fire star player. He could easily be one of those players who you are super high on today, and their stock suddenly plummets tomorrow.
