Theres several yputube millionaires and loads of people that just straight live off youtube.
They get paid for ads basically. They create content,if you have a channel that gets X amount of views you can apply for revenue sharing. Then they get paid a percentage when ads run on there videos.
That dude is the most popular youtuber ever. Has 38 million subscribers. I dont get it,hes rather annoying and immature. But I guess its just not for me. Cant knock the hustle

Jimmy Kimmel is a fukking idiot. Period. He gets PAID to TALK. its the SAME shyt as PewDiePie. Jimmy Kimmel talks about whats going on, PewDiePie is talking about video games. Either way, they are both getting paid to talk.. Who is he to judge how other people get paid ?? A lot of those gaming streams are more entertaining than most the shyt on TV now because its live entertainment and the personalities are better than the people on TV.

where was the joke besides the sketch (that wasnt funny?) It seemed like it was just an attack/being out of the loop for the first minute of the clip.. there wasnt no punch lines or set ups it was just "these people are weird for watching other people"
That's the thing, it felt like more than just a joke. Parents ashamed of themselves? That's how you open the bit? Because people like to watch others play video games? There is a competitive edge to it that nobody will get from watching Kimmel or any of these other late night shows.It's all jokes

There are adults who sit and break down 2 hour movies together as a group...if we want to talk about lame I think that's even worse than kids watching other kids play games. A movie is not interactive, it is very basic passive entertainment...what is there to talk about? Henry was a bad 12 year oldd kid who smoked cigarettes, killed animals and wanted to kill his brother.
That's why I called out insecurity right away, it felt more like an attack than anything else.
Why would parents be ashamed because kids are looking at other kids finishing a game? They might pick up other strategies that they can apply to other similar games in the future, I think that's why its such a big thing online. It's not just to watch people finish the same game you finished, it's to see HOW they approached it. It's like watching someone solve a puzzle.
