I'm watching the dudes who compete at the highest level, a small percentage of those streamers are good players. There is a big difference.
actually a large/majority % of the top streamers are the very best in their respective games and thats the whole point of them being popular. Its only a small % of big streamers who are watched for personality.

) because of their personality ? It was the top players in the world going against each other. When it comes to competitive games most people only want to watch the best to try and learn or just watch in awewhen it comes to bull shyt pirate games or console games like splatoon then yeah more people watch those streamers cause of personalities but really its a handful of popular streamers that are popular because of how entertaining they are instead of how good they are.
for every 100 streamer that has a good amount of viewers because they are good at a game theres maybe 1 streamer thats popular because of their personality/entertainment value to their crowd.
So all in all its the same as watching boxing
