And what really fukked up Jinder's role is an out of touch racist relieving Ryan Ward of being lead writer for Smackdown and placing the job on one of his out touch wannabe black KKK affiliates, the road dogg Jesse James. I believe everyone saw diversity and great writing in it and wanted to join before then. Nakamura would've received a proper push and the authenticity of wrestling would've been back on the map. I genuinely think white ppl are not made to be good writers because racism blinds them from seeing opportunities in others.

Unfortunately as we are well aware, they just don't know how to write or book properly for the majority of time. They will surprise you ever now and again, but ultimately it will turn to shyt, as they either don't have the patience for medium to long term organic growth or they let stuff carry on way past it's expiry date.

Considering they cheered when Jinder won, and cheered during the baller Bollywood celebration, and the same crowds cheer Mustafa Ali, and the HOF crowd booed Kid Rock for making a joke about slamming Democrats, I think Jinder as a face would not be held back by racist crowds but by writers/agents/owners who think the audience wouldn't accept him as a face.
