It's hard to build a competitive team when your 40 year old star is eating up 55 million.

Brady and Jordan are GOATs because they left money on the table to win championships and made that money up elsewhere.

You could resurrect Jerry Buss and Jerry West and they wouldn't be able to build a competitive team if the numbers $$$ aren't allowing them to.

An athlete should never leave money on the table. It’s the front office job to build a competitive team.

Ok. So why was Darvin Ham the scapegoat when you just admitted these dudes are trash. They literally have the same team.
DLO is significantly worse this year

And for stretches of last year he had a fully healthy roster and refused to do basic things as a coach like adjust to in game decisions when a player got hot, or to even call timeouts

He ran some of the lowest % of plays in the league last year and left it up to AD/Bron in large stretches when your job as a coach is to set your team up for failure

How is this any different than last year? The same players being praised last season with the coach being bashed, have now switched? The entire rotation was the rotation last year.
Except for T Prince, Vando, and Wood haven’t played and they were big pieces last year

If yall don’t know wtf you’re talking about then stay out of the threads man.

Except he did leave $$ on the table because Rob and his contracts almost put them in the 2nd apron and Bron took less to make sure that didn’t happen

It's not leaving money on the table if you actually win.

You see, championships bring opportunity to generate revenue elsewhere, revenue that would EXCEED the money you handcuffed the organization for.

Again, NO front office can build a competitive team if there isn't money available.

This is why Jordan made $330 million dollars last year, just off sneaker royalties alone. And why Brady got $375 million just to talk about football a couple of hours a week.

This has never really been true

Your salary is the best most athletes gonna get

Dudes with signature sneakers are the exceptions
