c00ning =/= have a corporate job

Job fairs are a good place to get training contracts/internships over the summer and are the type of experience employers are looking for.

First step to black empowerment is building capital,
How are you going to have capital without a job?

There's no shame in using a corporation to develop a network, experience as well as capital so that you have the option to develop your own business in the future

Go to that fair and be proactive :ufdup:

You trying to make sense to 'keeping it real' niccas :gucci:

Use this as an opportunity to practice your people skills. If you go there without the intent of finding a job, you will do a lot better because you'll be more relaxed. Don't go to every booth, go to the booths that you have an interest in or one that connects with your major. And if they ask you if you have any questions ask them about the diversity of their company.

Go to the job fair. :snoop:

Even if you aren't at all interested in any of the companies use it as a practice talking to people in your field.

I went to one and lucked up on meeting a sista that was recruiting. We chatted each other up and she ended up passing me through all of the interviews just based on our connection which lead to us finding out we had mutual friends..

You never know if you don't go.
