What do you do if you don't mind me asking? And yeah this looking for job thing aint no joke out here I got long term plans for being a dentist but I need something simple to get a little money saved up and enable me to pay for my application process myself.

I work at a group home. My field is dominated by women. But through the years I've seen how my clients act/react to male staff members, so after doing some investigating, I realized that a lot of my clients have never really had males in their lives. So I started hiring males and I have seen a HUGE difference. Even with my female staff, I haven't had the issue of relationships starting on the job (Thank God) but my male staff don't take shyt from them women on the job and you cannot step over them. They don't play and we get along fine. Some will complain and I just tell them, this must be your first time dealing with a real quality man who gives no fukks about your struggle. He has no time for your bullshyt, so you get with the program or walk.

Trust me when I came to my job the women outnumbered the men and we had a lot of issues with my clients. So I had to ride the tide and wait for folks to fire themselves. Then I started hiring men and everything changed.

I work in employment helping people find work and lemme tell yall...

LEARN YOUR ASS A DAYUM TRADE OR DOME TYPE SKILL YOU CAN WORK FOR YOURSELF!!!!

This economy and country are fukked for the majority. I talk to people who have played the game right, gotten degrees and certs, and they are still looking for a job. Wasted all of that fukking money!

My job now requires a degree, which I don't have one. And I'm probably the best in my office at what we do. So I'm in there, no degree, making the same as people who spent dues in school. In my office looking like a dayum dope boy...but I know my shyt. Plus my verbal and written skills are superior to my college graduate Co worker's.

Talked to the guy up the street who has a chicken wing truck. nikka pulls in 300 on a bad day! A good one he can pull in a stack.

I'll probably leave this job shortly and do my side hustles full time. More risk, but more freedom. Nothing feels better than knowing you don't NEED a job. That's true freedom.

Oh, and cut your expenses nikkas so you font have to slave yourselves out.

:mjlol: Thats what i cant stand about job descriptions on job sites. They make you feel like you have to be Tony Starks level genius. But like someone else said its about who you know.
It was always about who you know. Always. When you factor in the poor education from childhood and colleges that practice the same goofy teaching philosophy as the primary school, youre prone to have a populace that is unprepared for everything.

#1: Be funny
#2: Be well spoken
#3: Scope a few places you REALLY wanna work and research it, even if its a mom and pop
#4: Get to know someone or someones who are running the spot and ask questions when they have downtime
#5: Tailor a resume that lines up whatever skills you have. If you don't have them skills, do what it takes to get an idea of the skills, or google other people doing it
#6: Apply and make sure people know your name
#7 Be funny and well spoken (This is most important)

You gotta convince mofos you gonna be THAT dude that will liven shyt up and get that work done. If you on that entry level steeze, just copping a job makes getting another easier, so retail will be about telling them what they want to hear and timely humor to have people rolling and smiling when they see you. I bounced through a total of 5 jobs in the past 9 months that way, each an upgrade over the last. Each job gave me a feather in my cap to put on the resume, and I kept 3 at a time so if one sucked, I wasn't working it too many days. Your #1 job, especially since the money is gonna be ass, is to get people to vouch for you on anything and everything. Your bosses should be the Tony Yayo to your 50, at least for the years when Yayo had nothing but good shyt to say. Trust me when I say it will take some effort at first, but eventually you start getting the hang of at LEAST getting interviews, in which case you can drop some words and have people buzzing in your favor.

This.. But pick the right skill for you. I am in sales and doing well, but I also do sql and html for a side and I have a class A license for if everything goes bad and I have to go back to driving a semi.

I have one more in-class educational thing I want to learn which is Geographic Information System (GIS) programming (Python) and higher level database manipulation (SQL) to get this certificate.... I know you never stop learning per se....especially with technology...but no more schooling after a few classes of this .... hopefully :ohlawd:

I'm schooled the hell out .... :lawd:

You could get paid training at any over the road truck driving job tomorrow. Between 500 & 1000 a week after training. Easy money. Also if that is not your type of gig, plenty of entry level sales are going to people with little or no experience because companies are switching the way sales happen and making scripts.. Try any mattress retailers or any larger car sales.
