Then they wonder why nikkaz hustle...I've seen dish washing jobs that want "years" of experience...I have to find two part time jobs just to be able to BEGIN to support myself through college (and eventually move back out)...

Sometimes I wish the Purge was real...oh my, the damage i would do....

underpayed/underworked and over qualified, but no "decent" gigs you actually "qualify" for :shaq2:

It is tempting to just lie (or bend the truth) for some of these gigs, since I'm about certain they don't require much thought or effort during an average workday, though they require X amount of years experience/education. Plus, you see the folks they do hire and it's :wtf:, so something's up.

Pre-emptive :pacspit: and :pachaha:@ the next job listing...

I just recently received my work permit and SSN so I am now able to work on the books but :snoop:

Best buy turned me down because I don't have any experience working as a cashier. How hard is that shyt? :why: Most of the cashiers are a$$holes with nasty attitude. I just applied for a Burger King in the neighborhood but the manager looks like a thirsty knight because he only wants a female :mindblown: McDonalds won't even reply back :smh:

My previous job experiences are assisting a carpenter, construction and recently 2 years at Hunts Point Produce market. In none of those jobs I had previous experience before starting but gained it quickly. I just want a job where I can work inside and not worry about slipping in the rain :to:

I saw an ad on craiglist for a dishwasher PT that required at least 4 years experience :what:

It seems that if you don't have hook ups, you can't get jobs. I had two hooks up in the past at restaurants but turned them down because I didn't have a SSN and didn't want to work with a fake one. Some restaurant owners don't care if you use a fake one as they like to pay cheap and prefer illegals.

Omg, I feel you! Im looking for new gig too, these openings are asking basically for god as an applicant. I'm looking at product marketing, they want you to have advertising, marketing, engineering, coding skills at the same damn time, I'm like who has had all these jobs in the 4-7 yrs of experience this requires. And pay an entry level salary.

fixed:krs:

It sucks for a lot of people because companies have such a large pool to choose from and they set their standards HIGH...

But this will be worse for the country in the long run because all these young folks are 22-32 cannot gain the experience needed to actually take on many of the jobs out there and it is holding everything behind... Old folks still working, retiring later, and less space for the young people...

At the same time, it is forcing people in this age bracket to get creative, our generation, "The Millennials"(16-32), could end up being the most innovative generation to come about because of this..

I got my degree in Economics and was working consulting for a couple years... I recently just quit my job and am writing a business plan... In the mean time I've been using my other skills as an asset to stack money on the side... You can't wait for anything unless you are a cream of the crop top talent.

At this point You have to get it on your own. It is hard, but find the assets that make you talented (aside from being a good company drone) and go use it to make your own money...

And if you're black its 10x harder for you. Got to get your network on brehs. It's not about what you know, it's who you know.

This! And all you anti-white coli militants gonna fukk around and be unemployed. My white brehs put me on with a banking internship back in college which eventually turned into a full time position once I graduated from college. .

Network with everyone, you never know who knows who.
