A young woman who left school with three A-levels and ten GCSEs killed herself because she felt 'humiliated' about not getting a job.
Vicky Harrison, 21, failed to find work after applying for more than 200 jobs over two years.
She took a massive drug overdose a day after receiving a rejection letter following an interview. She left a suicide note saying: 'I don't want to be me anymore.'

I'm only 23 and been turned down 3 times. I may not like my current job but fukk it, as long as it helps pay for my college then I'm all good

Mental illness...I know people that have applied for more than 200 jobs and didn't do this...they didn't have mental illness or anguish; yea they were upset and fukked up, but they still kept looking until they found work. THis is not a simple case of woman kills herself because she couldn't find jobs; there was an underlying issue that prompted her extreme reaction to "humiliation." But this is a sad story

Sad thing is she might have gotten job 201.

And I doubt it was just the job search that made her suicidal. She was probably in a bad place. Student loans, no money, family issues, who knows. Looking for work and not having a single opportunity was just the straw that broke the camels back I bet
