Plus she probably wanted a certain type of job instead of just getting a job not in her field or a job where the pay isn't that good...
Alot of people are not working because alot are not willing to take a pay cut and eliminate a certain type of lifestyle base off opinions of others.

I don't know about the job struggle (god forbid) but 200 rejections is tough. For anything. Do you know what 200 no's does to the psyche?
I'd be afraid to get out of be for fear that I'd think to move my legs and my body would say "no" and I'd fall on the floor.
200 no's can either be motivating or emasculating. If 200 broads said no to me I'd either go to the gym or.brush my teeth better, do something. At the same time I might sit back in the cut like damn am I that ugly? I might not approach a bytch for months even years.
As cynical as it sounds we are wired to want to work. Sure if we didn't have to
we wouldn't, but a lot of us would because if our career is fulfilling, and not just ‘a job’ to pay bills or make ends meet. We are happy there, we want to be there, we enjoy our coworkers, and our contributions to society and such.
A lot of people define themselves by what they do or their job. If you meet someone you may even ask, What’s your name? and within the next couple question inquire “Where do you work/What do you do?” That’s how ingrained having a job is to us. So not having a job is more than just not getting income, and sitting at home, and the job search, it’s almost like a loss of self. Once again im fortunate enough to not have to deal with that and if I did, I don’t know how many rejections or how long I could take, not being a apart of something. Im a simple man too. Honestly if I could hand out soup to the homeless and have a bowl or 2 to feed myself everyday, I wouldn’t care about generating income. But life doesn’t work like that.

95% of the time, if you've had that many rejections, you're CV isn't up to scratch. You can have all the qualifications in the world but if you don't know how to effectively format a CV, they're worthless.
And don't say that there aren't any jobs out there because I got my part-time job with the same amount of qualifications as her and I was 19 at the time and I'm at university so my employers know that I'd skip work in a heartbeat if I have classes to go to.

As for this article, why didn't she join the Military? As fukked up as it sounds, the Military may be the best option after school for middle class youth. Even if you go to school and get that paper, a job isn't assured and you're in debt.
