I hate working, but it could be a lot worse. I work for a major corporation now that allows me to work from home every day, so my hours are flexible as hell and I can come and go as I please. plus my boss is over 2000 mi away.

but if I could afford to NOT work, I'd take that deal in a heartbeat of course.

I don't have to really deal with co-workers at all. and definitely not a bunch of stupid small talk. I only go into my office like 2 times a year out in AZ at most.

I work in health care. I'm not a coder. I work for a company that produces software for hospitals they use to track patient safety and quality metrics.

our clients are hospitals and damn near every hospital uses our software. at least in illinois they do.

Same people you dissing run the essential services you need from government offices to hospitals, customer service centres you call into for products you pay for etc. Do you reasonably think our society would function as is if we didn't all have schedules to keep and essential.duties for society to uphold. Don't be a clown. You are privileged to enjoy your time because someone else isn't. So when you ride out an pump gas, eat watch tv, surf the web.
