I'm 40 without any children, make 85k as a postal super. Got a tight portfolio, my own single fam home, and travel out of the country at least three times a year. When I go home I'm home. Sure some of the folk I work with are a little myopic but that is cultural more than intellectual. Everyone does not want the same things in life.
