You know y’all ain’t no more sensible than the right. Y’all just dismiss shyt automatically. That why as a country we won’t get far.

Why don't you tell me what is so impressive about this article because all I see is a guy complaining about people he doesn't like. Everyone here knows the current corporate environment in america is terrible but instead of criticizing people like trump or obama he saves all the smoke for lebron.

The problem with whitlock is instead of just writing a good article about how lebron and kaep should act to get production moved back to the United state, he fills this article full of white grievance politics, china panic and trump ass kissing.

He says society has failed in trusting celebrities over polticans and experts but it was politicians and experts who sent all the jobs overseas and wrecked the American workers in the first place! Make it make sense.

People criticize trump all the time. I’m pretty sure Whitlock did before. But he did criticize Obama.

But he just made out the point that Lebron is a corporate tool. All this empty ass gestures but we really need shyt that black people can feel now a couple shirts and hashtags. Kap selling his protest 1s for $100 ain’t really do shyt at the end of the day..we don’t even know where the money goes that be being donated..

We all forget Donald Sterling won 2 NAACP awards by throwing money at black people.

That China shyt was real. We had a real shortage of medical supplies and other stuff because the production chain was all over there. You see how China made the NBA fall back. China is a threat. Plain and simple.

Your reading comprehension fukked up. He never said the bolded. So that whole paragraph is null and void. He just said that bringing some jobs back would be more beneficial to black people.

A quick google search will tell you where they donate money and how it is used

If you focus on only the gestures and not the material good they have done, it's easy to paint them solely as corporate tools.

You don't have to tell anyone here about the evils of american capitalism.. but it's very telling that in whitlock's world black athletes get the blame for only partially fixing the problems made by politicians and white politicians get credit for ideas that they have not implemented at all

shyt already got posted and clowned

as far as this post being 'sensible'

"I don’t trust athletes and celebrities to fix the criminal justice system, community policing or other problems well outside their area of expertise."
Is fukking elitist garbage, this is a representative democracy - the entire point is an educated citizenry calls the shots. We are not beholden to the ruling class to tell us how to live because they're "experts".

The president is a former reality tv star with 0 political experience, telling celebrities/athletes (many of whom are incredibly well-informed of these situations) to stay in their lane is ridiculous.
Secondly, that bloated walrus damn well knows all those jobs got outsourced by the very Reaganite republicans who he cowtows with on a daily basis.

That’s cool and all but we talking about real change. I’m not giving cool points off of corporate donations..he didn’t lay blame. Y’all just hate the facts. I’m them equality shoes and shirts ain’t doing shyt for the average black man.

We’re making a mistake allowing athletes and celebrity influencers to set the agenda for the kind of reform and change we want to see in America.

"I don’t trust athletes and celebrities to fix the criminal justice system, community policing or other problems well outside their area of expertise.

So who is he saying should set the agenda? He brings up Donald Trump as having good ideas later in the article.

China didn't kill the American middle class, american business owners did.

China didn't put a gun to our head and force us to move shyt overseas. Trump and Obama's buddies did it because they don't give a shyt about us, and now whitlock is in here kissing trump's ass. :stopitslime:

I’m not buying non of that shyt that Whitlock is shoveling. He’s just mad that Bron and Kaep are exposing what white folks are really up to. The likes of Bron and Kaep are bringing awareness that puts pressure on this biased system. Why don’t Whitlock do something to help instead of writing bs.

We know the truth... this forum talks about #tangibles all the time. We just don't agree that trump's america first agenda is going to solve the problem.

I'm calling my senators for ubi and reparations instead of writing bytchy letters about basketball players who donate money to schoolchildren

He saying the experts. The experts didn’t move jobs overseas. American greed did on both sides.

I’m done tho.
