Jodeci/R.Kelly tour would have been sick 20 years ago. There's potential in both the album and the tour but I'm hoping they not on that

life like their reunion at the awards.

I believe they can hold it together for a couple of months on the road. K-Ci & JoJo been touring for the past 10/15 years. I doubt Devante would put up with that shyt.

& yeah, that tour would've been sick 20 years ago, but they weren't fukking with a lot of singers back then. The only group they were cool with were H-Town, Silk & Boyz 2 Men, Devante HATED Shai. And every other group during that time were 1 hit wonders

Everything I've read has been very vague re: DeVante's involvement. This is gonna be like when they let Consequence in ATCQ? Who is producing??

I know Timbaland produced "Those Things" & "Incredible".

The album is executive produced by Louis Burrell, Lajuanna Burrell, and Breyon Prescott.


Wasn't Louis Burrell beefing with Sylvia Rhone back in the day over Troop? She didn't like him & them being managed by him, so she blackballed them.

Now their signed to Epic, a label she's presdent of & he's ex producing their album?!

Executive Producing could mean anythinbg, could mean theyre keeping them from smoking crack in the studio or they got them an advance or anything... Suge was executive producer of 2pac's albums, Puff was exec of Biggie's shyt and we all know Puff couldnt play a C Major chord if his life depended on it

i wannabe hype but i just can feel that this ain't gonna be anywhere near what i want it to be

now back in like 2001 (aside from the bizarre 1st annual bet awards), i would've been hyped about this

but it's just been too long and although the 2 singles they have dropped for this album haven't been flat out horrible, they haven't been anythin' remotely close to that high they were all the way back in 95'

will i check it out? sure, out of nostalgia and for the fukk of it. but i ain't hype

with all that said, good to see them actually puttin' out somethin'. i never thought it was gonna actually happen once the mid 2000's hit

The executive producer pretty much puts the album together. They don't have to have anything to do with the musical aspect of the album aside from making sure the songs flow properly together. They decide which songs make the album and can even decide the order of the songs.

Alot of dudes got their prod. style in part from Devante though. Timbaland somewhat, The Underdogs, Tank, etc.

If they did it RIGHT, they could make an eclectic album and still keep the classic Jodeci sound.
