nikkas speaking on me but not @ing that's cool
Like my nikka ed explained...where did I say we was suddenly contenders or any of that hyperbole yall speak about? I said drummond plus shooters is likely the route gundy goes and they sign one of the best available shooters on the market...granted 6 mill is a lot but that's another story. If he's mak Ong 3s he's gonna earn that bread and if he's consistent he has a tradeable contract.
Look at that Orlando Magic squad gundy had that went to the finals
Howard as the star athletic big man snatching boards, blocking and dunking at will...sounds like what drummond could become
Add the shooters orlando had
Turkoglu
Rashard Lewis
Courtney lee
Jr Reddikk
Jameer Nelson
Michael Pietrus
led to a strong paint presence surrounded by shooters led them to the in all on a team where if dwight wasn't a hoe could have made more noise. That and injuries but I sigress
Now am I out here screaming boozer and shooters? Am I screaming howard paul horford pick and roll? Am I screaming the big 3 plus melo? Am I screaming kobe after achilles surgery and knee surgery leading a lakers team with no coach to the playoffs on the west with a weird roster of Randle love Westbrook and then somehow getting Irving when his contract ends?
No? Then hop off me and my franchise dikk.especially if u a bandwagon fan
Y'all don't have no real 3 point shootersHoward paul horford pick and roll turned in to Salmons Schroeder sit and stare?

Report: Pistons, Jodie Meeks agree to three-year, $19m contract
Just about every year, some Los Angeles Lakers' free agent gets a bigger contract than expected on the open market. This year, Jodie Meeks is apparently that player. New Detroit Pistons' president and coach Stan Van Gundy is happy to give it to him too.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports is reporting the Pistons and Meeks have verbally agreed to a three-year contract worth $19.5 million. The Pistons also sign small forward Cartier Martin on a one-year contract. Martin and Meeks share the same agent.
Free-agent guard Jodie Meeks has reached agreement on a three-year, $19.5 million contract with the Detroit Pistons, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Free-agent forward Cartier Martin has agreed to a one-year deal with the Pistons, too, sources told Yahoo Sports.
Meeks is the first free-agent signing for new Pistons president Stan Van Gundy and general manager Jeff Bower. Detroit has been desperate to add shooting to its roster.
Meeks had the best individual statistics of his career last season for an awful Lakers team. He averaged 15.7 points on 46.3 percent from the field and 40.2 percent from 3-point range. He played 33.2 minutes per game in 77 contests. He was a starter for 70 of those games. He also set career-highs in 3-pointers made (162) and 3-pointers attempted (404). He set a career-high for points in a game with 42 back in March in a victory over the Thunder.
Martin split time between the Bulls (six games) and the Hawks (53 games) in his sixth NBA season. Overall, he averaged 5.6 points on 43.2 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from downtown.
Van Gundy has an offensive system that seems to maximize the 3-point shot and Meeks certainly can provide that. Deals can not be officially signed until July 10.

I could rock with that if the city had just won a championship or if it was a legendary player that you grew up on or some shyt but...If I'm drinking and a sixer, especially jodie, is next to me.. he's drinking too
I actually think that'd be a good thing and, if done early enough in the season (preferably training camp actually), Jennings would change his game and maybe turn his career on the right path.i wonder what would happen if SVG is straight up like "IDGAF what they're getting paid, smith and jennings are SITTING"...would they care or get them checks...? demand a trade?

Jennings def. doesn't have a future playing for SVG and he only mentioned him as part of his "core" last week so he wouldn't completely kill what little trade value he actually has.
nikkas gotta understand we're trying to implement our first system since pretty much Flip Saunders left town. We need system players and if its a market for those players, us being one of the least desirable free agent locations, we're almost always going to have to overpay to get dudes here.
Meeks is a shooter. We needed shooters more than anything. He's an ugly name and let's keep it 100, a ugly ass nikka. But as long as he knocking down that trey ball, he's alright with me. This team is being built around Drummound, these nikkas are his ROLE PLAYERS. Nobody's expecting Meeks to come here and do 16 like he did last year, but if he can give us a solid 11 off the bench, 2 or 3 3's a game, how is this a L? All we been hearing about is spacing for a year.. DAT SPACING...DAT SPACING...Well we're addressing that shyt.
