I said this earlier, if Kamala can repackage herself as a "progressive prosecutor", she is the best pick, but I fear if she's picked her entire prosecutorial background will be picked apart by the left. She was really threatening to put black and Latino parents in jail for their truant kids and was proud of locking people up for marijuana. Tulsi fukking Gabbard single-handedly killed her campaign in the debate by attacking her record. I find the argument of all AGs lock people up to be funny. Name me a AG that people want to be president? If you want an example of a progressive prosecutor look at Krasner. Also it is not about locking people up. Some people should be locked up. It about what laws you are emphasizing. Did you support reforms early or did you wait until it was overwhelming public pressure? That is what I’m looking at.

If I had the time I would go back in this thread and quote my posts on why Amy Klobuchar would be a horrible pick for VP. I stated more than once that her record would be a major issue. A few posters in this thread tried to dismiss warning and look want ended up happening. You run the same risk with Kamala, or Val Demings. Biden record on theses issues are bad enough. No need to add a a VP with a problematic record as well.

What I’m saying is that any AG no matter how good a candidate was people can politicize their tenure. It’s the nature of the job

and in most places parents are punished for kids not going to school.
