I think any V.P choice is going to be controversial and may chip a way at his numbers.

Personally, I like Susan Rice even though she doesn’t bring much politically. But I think her lack of “political” history may work to her advantage.

Both things can be true. It was politics. It was also nasty. It was politics because let's be honest: Biden was friends with people like Strom Thurmond and the like. He supported those things. It's the record. It's nasty because it was almost 50 years ago. At the end of the day, Dodd and Biden are close friends. Objectively, Kamala is the front runner, but to win she needs people like Dodd and Jill Biden on side. That she doesn't yet, still is a problem.

Any position made public, where it implies a black woman has to kiss the ring, in political theatre where uglier shyt is given a pass is problematic. Warren eviscerated Biden, and got a pat on the back. A black woman did it and she needs to apologise? FOH.

I think Warren would be receiving attacks from online and some black groups if she was chosen. You're right, but politics is a game of risk. Kamala took that. Let's see where the chips fall. If this leads to Warren being VP, you're right and the polls will tighten.

You're right but Joe is a relationship guy. Chris is his friend. That's not going to happen imo. He should be fired but Joe is on cruise control. Calls into question what his white house would be like for sure.
