Joe Budden - Afraid (Drake Diss) Update: (Better mix)

1. I'm not talking about No Shopping, I'm talking about Drake responding with new songs of his own when Budden was dissing him within that month.

2. The album is still being streamed heavily and being played at functions and social settings so I don't see how its old news. And Child's Play is about to get a video. If Views came and went so did everything else this year.

1 - I know what you meant. Drake is so big right now that if he drops a new track ESPECIALLY if its specifically at Joe during that time it could potentially take away French's momentum and the allure of a new Drake verse on French's song (post Views). He dont want to see Diddy's hands again.

2 - "My Boo" is currently being streamed heavily (esp. via the Running Man challange) and has been played at social functions for the past 20 years. Pop music is pop music and thats whats going to happen with popular culture. As far as Views impact in regards to staying power, its not even holding a candle to the monster that was DS2 & def not going to be around as long as "My Boo".

Of course he wanted it....but the whole "this is over Tahiry" angle is as hell when that happened close to 4 years ago. Budden was at one point a big Drake fan and his criticisms fall right in line with what everyone has been saying about his projects. Don't get me wrong, I don't even like Budden. And he sounds like a drug addict on his pod cast. But the actual complaints...."Views" is a weak project, "IYRTITL" should've been a Future album....this is shyt everybody said.
