Because one, Joe Budden is the rapper everyone loves to hate, and two, he's the only one people can pull up on. Nobody's gonna go pull up on Anthony Fantano or Big Quint for an opinion, they'd look corny. Even pulling up on Joe looks dumb, but Joe almost seems to moonlight as a fade catcher (whether it's justified or not), so everyone would just laugh anyway and then forget about it. Look at how quick that Migos and Yachty song "Ice Tray" died out. Times like this, you really wish Everyday Struggle was still going on.
The entire internet thought that Eminem album was weak. I liked some songs off of it, but I felt that as an album, it wasn't his best. I didn't like the rock-sampled beats (Untouchable was okay though, but he REALLY did a bait and switch with the intro on that one...), among some other minor things. And not only that, but the album promotion was just out to lunch the entire time. From the Stan references, to the medication style, to the album cover and even performing on SNL with older songs, nobody knew wtf was going on. It's not like Joe was an avid Em hater for years, he's always defended Em on everything until recently. But because Joe is Joe, that's what happens. Em's lucky he didn't sit down with Charlamagne, in that case.
...Know what though, maybe that's the reason for the shots -- that video Joe did with Charlamagne on Revolt.
They did put him on the Trash Artists of 2017 list, I would imagine that would piss any rapper off. 
Oh well. I just hope that this gives Eminem something to prove, because he's essentially become underestimated again at this point.Devil Plisken…CMS
