i'm guessing the last straw was probably the Budden/Charlamagne joint podcast. wouldn't be shocked if ebro and rosenberg gave her an ultimatum at that point, and talked to her about how fukkin with a loose cannon like Budden can burn bridges for her and ruin opportunities.

while ebro and rosenberg are corporate shills (especially ebro), i kinda get it because she's still really young and hasn't had a 15yr career like Budden. plus, marisa's job is centered around relationships.

and yes, rory became annoying and been thinking he's too cool.
