But has his track done anything? He's saying this like delivered a mighty blow when the people who keep Drake on his pedestal don't give a fukk. You don't talk this shyt when you haven't really drawn blood.

And diss to Drake is gonna be :banderas: to all the Drake haters, but as someone who really doesn't give 2 fks about Drake like that, the diss is nice...but ineffective to Drake's career:yeshrug:

Now, if Jay-Z or Nas or Kendrick (people who have a fanbase & have lyrics) made these disses, then it'll be a topic to discuss. As of right now though, Joe Buddens diss isn't having any impact at all:manny:

Who cares if its ineffective to his career? Meek is still getting plaques so its not like back 2 back ended his career or anything

its about RAP. Its about COMPETITION AND SPORT.

But Drake can't rap, which is why he'll avoid this or just have Hush type him a diss track

Meek didn't lose to drake, he lost to the Internet

Meek Mill lost to Drake. You niccas love to run with this lie like dudes from Meeks own team haven't already admitted he took an L.

Also, Meek got buried by a BIG diss song with quotables user by people till this day. Hell even Joe Budden quoted that track in his diss :pachaha: NOBODY has quoted anything Meek rapped in his mediocre tracks

You've given 2 examples of singing. Seems like you're just lumping every head line together without delving into the facts. What's that got to do with rap? Plus we all know what Weeknd gave to Drake. He didn't write no damn raps :pachaha: Also, let's not act like it was charity because Weeknd got A LOT of shine off Take Care.

The 4 Tay thing? He quoted a song that was out? Whats that got to do with ghost writing?

And the Beyonce and Taylor swift argument is just nonsense because A LOT of legendary people in hip hop have declared themselves Hip Hop fans and if you go outside you will see Drake get played in every club/ party they play Hip Hop. They ain't playing Taylor Swift in those places.

That's what I don't understand.

I seriously doubt Drake writes his R & B songs, just like most R & B singers don't either, but Im supposed to give unknown people props for ALL of Drake's material when we have no proof someone wrote it (i.e. the song "views" which I quoted) and it sounds almost identical to the same exact flow and lyricism he used all over Comeback Season?

We'll never know because he didn't come out of pocket in the first place. But then that's just it isn't it? A crackhead is going to forever act like a crackhead, even if he has fire bars.

Didn't Diddy smack him?

What are tracks supposed to do? End careers? It's music.

These disses were scathing as hell.. I think expectations should be tempered. The only time I've seen a rapper actually end another career was 50 cent to Ja Rule, but even still, Ja is eating just fine

he took jabs at Joe when Joe was simply saying to step his bars up.

The thing that gets me is this. Joe is more of a podcaster and "personality" at this point. He provided commentary on his thoughts on Views like a media person would and it blew up as such. Cool (personally I like his podcast, he's a funny dude).

Drake may or may not have then thrown subs his way (Joey sure seems to think so), but assuming they were indeed at him, they were at Joe the loudmouth podcaster. They were supposed "friends" and Joey was a self-proclaimed huge Drake fan, and then he went ham on his new album on his podcast. And Drake took an issue with that, as most normal people would.

But now he wants to flip into Joe the rapper and turn that into a rap feud. None of Drake's assumed Subs had anything to do with Joe as a rapper. Pick your poison bro, that's all I'm saying :manny:

Either way, both Joey tracks are fire and I'm sure Drake is emotional somewhere in Europe right now :wow:

Buddens disses were lyrically very good. 1st one was way too lengthy but the 2nd one spoke real truth about why nikkas don't fukk with him inside the industry and listeners who see through him. The thing is, in reality for much of the masses, nobody gives a fukk about Joe Buddens. Most fans of Hip Hop are just excited to see someone go in on Drake lyrically with quality execution. The downside is, it's going to come and go because Joey just doesn't have the star power to move the conversation further into mass exposure. Drake won't respond because he doesn't have to. Yes, at one point he really looked up to Joe and Buddens came correct on his disses but he's just too small to warrant a response from Drake. Plus, Buddens didn't really expose anything crazy that all of us didn't already know. Meek exposed something huge and Meek is also a popular rapper with a girlfriend who is just as popular as Drake so it drew the attention it needed to get the world to pay attention. It's nothing Joe can do and honestly this makes him look dumb as fukk. It's like you did all that only to say you're rooting for him now? What kind of shyt is this? This is just going against everything you just did.

But Budden is talking like he did end his career or made his fanbase look at him different. I had no expectations of Budden doing either but he's talking like he has. And we know how this movie will play out.
