My point is though over the last 10 years. Redman did literally nothing note worthy for him to be on a kid who went from a 9yr old to a 18yr old over that period radar. Whereas legends like Nas, Hov, Snoop, Cube, etc... do major news worthy things every year. So if a dude ain’t did literally nothing note worthy over the last 10 years. Why would a 18 year old take any time to care?

He’s done interviews on some of the biggest platforms like TBC, Vlad, Drink Champs, l he’s done shows in Jersey, but that’s not the point. He’s known as the best rapper from Jersey. Not only that but Budden, his dad has beefed with his main guy and mentioned him 1000 times.

I knew mad dead artists who were not from my state and were cold as ice for decades before I was born. But my interest in music led me to them.

I really can’t spin it.

Somewhat yes. I don’t know how the early half of his relationship with his son worked (seemed to be some issues there) but he’s been around his son enough in the last few years for him to know who Redman is. For him to discover him riding in the car with his dad just last week is kinda wild.

This I agree with...it's no shock in the least bit for an 18 year old to not know Redmans music IMO, as his impact never matched the acclaim he gets in certain circles...the average 18 year old is more likely to know him for How High than any of his solo music career

Exactly. Even if you just know him by How High which is more of a cultural movie (Sorta like Friday but to a slightly lesser extent), that is known by people of all ages. I'm not expecting someone 18 to know Redman singles or even albums but to not even know who he was at all just sounds wild. Especially when you add in the other variables of this specific situation.
