I fukk with Joe heavy, and I’m happy for him with all of his success, but I’m not sure if it’s because he’s oversaturated himself or I just got personally burnt out from his content.

I used to watch ES most days and would catch the podcast every single week, but inbetween now having two 2+ hour podcasts a week, that Boring ass show with Remy and these pull up episodes I just fell behind and stopped caring, I haven’t watched/listened to any of the 3 shows in months.

Salute to his grind tho, still one of the illest mc’s

I’m not saying don’t dress in jeans, tees and sneaks. But dressing in ripped jeans screams “hypebeast,” someone chasing the latest trend, and I feel he’s too old to fall prey to that kind of behavior. I usually like how Joe dresses, so my criticism is joined by a bit of sirprise that someone who’s usually clean is rocking something like that.
Distressed jeans are hypebeast?

Definitely. It’s a trend. Dudes weren’t rocking distressed jeans three or four years ago. It’s only recently caught on and become trendy.
I've been rocking ripped up jeans since about 99 2000ish . ....had on some yesterday....I turn 35 this year when should I stop wearing it?

I’m sure some brehs were dying their hair blonde in 99, too. That you wore ripped jeans then isnt a refutation of my opinion that it has become a trend for hypebeasts now. Artist after artist, people who’d never wore them in the past, can be see rocking ripped jeans nowadays. 50 year old men are rocking that. It’s wild corny. :mjlol:

But back to the show.... shyt was pointless for real. It’s just crazy to me that these nikkas have procrastinated on this album so much. Like I honestly don’t even care anymore

Couldn’t agree more; just seems like he’s doing too much. There isn’t enough things going on in the mainstream hip hop
world to justify putting out this much content in a week. You will just end up recycling the same talking points just on a different show
