I agree, this ain't the Cole who came with Grown Symba or I ain't too proud to tell you that I cry sometimes about it.

This shyt was dry. My chick I was with literally fell asleep and said he sounded depressed. I can't even get into this shyt rn.

What would you guys say is the best song?

This album is not much different than what you would normally get from Cole. Like Cole is okay but he doesn’t have a lot of super standout work to me. I just appreciate the music.

Joe got the ability to shape people's perceptions on shyt. I think he was being a little too critical in his review, he tends to get excited and it starts sounding like hate, then the artist he's criticizing takes up a beef

Cole could do a lot better. I’m not feeling much of the production it’s boring as shyt. Just because you produce along with rapping doesn’t always mean it sounds good either. Sonically he needs to up his shyt up.

The album is bloated.
This how I felt after listening all the way through today.

I will say when he get to around track 5-6 the album heats up for me but yeah a couple songs could have been left off.

nikka is the Tyler Perry of Rap lol. Like you give him props for his come up but damn let some experts come in and do their thing so you can focus on the lyrics.

The Fall Off is probably Cole's most cohesive work and I feel accomplished what 4YEO somewhat failed to do in sticking to its theme.

I need to listen to The Off Season, but it's hard to place this over FHD because that was the album where we watched Cole finally "get it".

Cole had a bunch of outside production on the album.

There's only 2 songs that are great on this, about 5-6 that are above average, and the rest is... Seems like Cole will never have a landmark album.

Cole fans on TheColi: “If you cut like 12 tracks, it’s actually a solid album.

That pretty much says it all :dead: And if you’re neither a fan nor a hater, just neutral, you’re likely removing 18-20 songs :mjlol:
