That wasn't Joe's decision

What he was responsible for was building a championship team/and perennial contender
So the president of basketball operations and GM is not responsable for making the pick in the draft , mind you Melo wasn't the only perennial Allstar he missed on. If he got the glory of the chip he got to take blame for not setting the team up for multiple championships. :hubie:

Thibs is the exact coach New Orleans needs at this moment. They should be firing that bozo Willie and begging Thibs to bring them to respectability.

Funny thing is that David Griffin (who had his own problems) wanted to fire Willie this past season...but Benson and the higher ups were so offended by this that they fired Griff instead :mjlol:

Its been stated/known later on that was an ownership move/veto. Regardless Melo would have been nurfed under Larry Brown. No GM hits 100%

Not only Melo but Wade, Bosh, West, Korver, all had proven numbers in college. You wanted a center Chris Kaman was there. Its an all time whiff picking Darko :mjlol:

While I agree in general Zion needs to consistently take his conditioning more serious. Some of his injuries have been bad luck.

AR & picks for Zion.

Bron running a successful fat camp will easily make him a top 3 Laker.
What injuries of his have been “bad luck”, and not due to his weight and style of play?

Kind of feels like they are beating a dead horse at this point. But they will keep him until he nears 30 and if he's still the same injury prone player who shows glimpses only then will they trade him for a much less haul they they could get even currently.
