"Hawks are unloading there roster cause they are moving to St. Louis"-Peter Vecey

:usure:

The Hawks though won't be leaving Atlanta. According to the report, "The agreement with the city and Fulton County on the bonds that funded the construction of Philips Arena stipulates that the Hawks 'have agreed to play all of [their] regular season and playoff NBA home games' in the arena 'for as long as the [bonds] are outstanding.'" Those bonds won't be paid until 2028.

I dont understand this AT ALL from the Nets perspective. This was a HUGE mistake whe he Hawk signed him and now you re going to take over that mistake???

:snoop:

if the Nets at Howard and still retain Gerald Wallace they will be good that alone makes his contract manageable as they would have a 4 year window or so any how. And I think he has 3 good years left.

EXACTLY! This won't take too long to be the failure everyone expects it to be. The Nets are the answer to what do you get when you add terrible management with terrible player advice.

Man, what happened to Peter Vescey?:laff: Dude was a legend in the 90's his sources were GOLD and out of nowhere, he just started making up shyt. I could actually see the Hawks moving to an another equal market or somewhere bigger. St. Louis is smaller than the ATL, that's box office death.

20 million a year for an average player is never "manageable".

This is one of these high risk high reward trades. If the Nets manage to land Dwight, then the JJ trade puts them in Kaiser mode, especially if D-Will Stays, then you have a sort of big 3 in Dwight, D-Will and JJ. Also they kept Gerald Wallace. But if Dwight does not come to NJ, this still makes the Nets an 8th seed playoff team and that is all they will ever be for the next 5 years, but them again not bad for a team in a new city.
