Damn, what seemed like a random innocuous question, and Joe blew up because of that? :pachaha::russ:

Maybe he knows this season, fairly or unfairly he has a microscope to see if he can coach a team that aren't automatic championship contenders. Hopefully dude doesn't go through it this season and can relax or something lol

If the Celtics were smart they’d punt this season in hopes of getting a top draft pick.

Its whatever, pop did this type of shyt for years... I do think athletes and coaches are extremely dismissive to the fans and folks who help make their sport interesting.

You get paid millions of dollars just answer the fukkin question. A lot of other jobs where you gotta do repetitive things and get paid a lot less for.

I get it but at the same time the press is full of people who are willfully stupid about the sport, and I understand coaches getting frustrated by shyt like this. The press does not want to talk about actual football/basketball/etc so they default to narratives - did your guys try hard enough, did the other team want it more, are you concerned this is a trap game, are you concerned about playing a team with their back against the wall, etc. In this case a guy tries to ask a more technical, actual basketball question but it's predicated on ignoring years of direct coach answers lol.

Yeah I understand some of these press things are frustrating. But we ask teachers to keep their cool with kids who sometimes are willfully stupid and do 10x dumber stuff. I just expect my coach to understand the game he's in and appreciate how good he has it. Mazulla walks around all day like someone stole his dog
