You know what's funny. You could tell certain people in the media were thrilled about Stroud taking a step back last season, and they also would love for Jayden Daniels to take a step back this year. If you watched the Bears/Vikings game and the way they were crowning JJ McCarthy....black QBs rarely get that type of treatment.
Certain people hate the fact that the previous crop of young guns are getting older (Allen is 29) and hate the fact that the ACTUAL young guys are black QBs. Stroud and Daniels specifically. So you know they're praying to god that JJ and Maye end up being good.
