If Brad Stevens has any balls, he'll fire Joe Mazzulla tomorrow
I think last year's championship and that powerful run (4-1, 4-1, 4-0, 4-1) and outcoaching Carlisle in ECF and Jason Kidd in finals give him another year. If he was white..mhe would have 2 more year's at least.

Nah. He literally botched 2 championship runs in 3 years. Whether you root for the Celtics are not, going 0-3 against an 8th seeded Heat team and going 0-2 to a Knicks team that you were up 20+ points in both games is an all time fukk up by the coach

What I don't like is that Brad basically hired Joe Mazzulla to "learn on the job". And he admitted it Joe's first year as well. You DO NOT waste years with a championship contender so a coach can use this as his summer school project

I always use the example of the 2006 Miami Heat. Pat Riley came down from the GM chair to fire Stan Van Gundy to coach the Heat because he knew he could not waste this opportunity with Shaq, Antoine Walker, Gary Payton, Posey, Alonzo Mourning dying to win a ring. He never hired Erik Spoelstra at that time, cause he knew he was too green. He waited until he had the right seasoning, THEN he put Coach Spo in the leadership position when he was ready

Joe has to go
