Bonds, Griffey, Big Hurt and ARod are the best I've ever seen but my pops, uncle and anyone old enough to have witnessed Mays speak of him with reverence. I can't imagine what it must've been like growing up in NY with him and Mantle playing in the same era

I’m pretty indifferent about PED use as I just accept it is what it is, but I always thought it was funny that Bonds got caught (either officially or unofficially) of both juicing and amphetamines. The go-to PEDs of 2 different generations of MLB.

Both Mays and Bonds have strong cases as the GOAT
