Rogan is absolutely right on this, Stephen A should not be wheeled out for any and everything, I understand that he has a high profile but he sounds ridiculous when asked to talk about combat sport. If ESPN is serious about its partnership with UFC then Stephen A ain't the guy to be speaking on it.

What Rogan said in the podcast wasn't that bad. It actually made sense. But the quote that was posted that he said away from the podcast was kinda rude and warranted a response. Yeah SAS has flaming hot takes but....eh. Also, these MMA fans are insufferable and sensitive. So, you can understand the reactions. Especially considering they had Helwani do the NBA telecast and NBA fans aren't as insular.
